Realtor of the Week: Janice Ireland’s area knowledge helps clients
After more than three decades in the real estate industry, Janice Ireland, a Realtor with Heritage Texas Properties, brings many skills, talents and experience to her clients.
“My father is the one that encouraged me to move into real estate, and I am so glad he did. I found my passion and I love what I do. But I told my father I was not a hard seller, and he said ‘just do it your way,’ so I have,” Ireland said.
Ireland is a sincere and caring people person, and her way is putting people first — their needs and their goals — and going above and beyond to help her clients find the home of their dreams. Moreover, it is important to her for her clients to choose wisely, and to make sure the house will fit their needs and will have a good resale value.
Ireland has experience in relocation, helping people relocate in and out of the greater Houston area. Having experience with a large relocation firm she won the company’s prestigious Best in Class Award for customer service.
Since 2009, Ireland has ranked among Heritage Texas Properties’ Company-wide Top Producers every year, and has been one of the Top 10 in the Memorial office.
Heritage Texas Properties employs more than 300 licensed agents, which makes this achievement significant.
Ireland’s focus areas are areas in which she has lived, such as Memorial, Katy, Fulshear and the surrounding areas. Today, Ireland and her family call Fulshear home.
“Fulshear is growing and new construction is everywhere, but it is retaining its small-town, country feel that continues to draw people to the area,” Ireland said.
Her passion and love for what she does is evident, in that she never slows down. For example, in 2012 she went through treatment for breast cancer and was still the companywide top producer.
“I contribute my success to my faith in God, my husband, our two wonderful sons and their wives, four grandchildren, and to my Heritage Texas family for all of the support. Heritage Texas Properties is a great company,” Ireland said.
Ireland also works hard at keeping up with the changing market by continuously investing in her education and has earned multiple specialty designations.
She is also involved in the community and served on the board of directors for Gulf Coast Board of Realtors for five years.
