European-inspired community develops near Memorial Park

-

Home buyers can skip the 10-hour flight to Europe.

Somerset Green is Hines’ new European-inspired community being developed inside Loop 610 near Memorial Park.

Somerset Green offers home buyers elegant architecture in a location accessible to downtown and The Galleria.

The community is on 46 acres off Old Katy Road near the Houston Design Center, in proximity to I-10, Loop 610 and many of Houston’s major employment corridors.

Residents can drive through the guard-gated entry, and find themselves in a different world surrounded by canals, lakes, gardens and gathering spaces. Somerset Green features an amenity center with a swimming pool and entertainment space, walkable streetscapes, formal gardens and dog parks.

Hines partnered with three premier builders to develop the 560 homesites.

Coventry Homes, Pelican Builders Inc. and Toll Brothers each have broken ground, with sales centers and model homes already open.

The three- and four-story homes offer open floor plans. Other options include wood floors, marble countertops, rooftop terraces and elevators.

Exterior architecture adheres to Regency, Georgian and Normandy styles.

Developed by Hines, the vision of the community is to leave behind a legacy that enhances the quality of city living and creates places that will be cherished by future generations.

Home prices begin in the upper $500,000s.
