Realtor has first-hand knowledge of Inner Loop
Buying or selling a home is one of the most important financial decisions most people will make, so picking the right Realtor to take you through the process is vital.
“These days, there are many Realtors to choose from. Therefore, it is critical to choose a Realtor who is responsive, knows the market, has good negotiation skills, and who is meticulous with contract details,” said Elizabeth Smith, a Realtor with Greenwood King Properties.
Moreover, it is an excellent time to buy because interest rates are still low and inventory is good. It is also a very good time to sell because there are qualified buyers who are ready to buy if your home is priced correctly and prepared properly prior to listing.
Smith is a native Houstonian and has lived here all her life. She grew up in the Rice University area before obtaining her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston Clear Lake.
Her primary market area is inside Loop 610. She also focuses on the Westbury, Heights and the Memorial areas.
“I currently live in West University. I have lived inside the loop, in a number of different areas for over 40 years, and so I have first-hand knowledge of these established neigh- borhoods,” Smith said.
Smith joined the real estate industry due to her love of working with people, and knew she could make a difference, in helping them through the process. Her experience from being on both side of the table many times, plus being a Realtor, is experience her clients appreciate.
Prior to real estate, Smith worked in health care administration. It is here that she honed her people, organization and communication skills, and contract negotiation experience. These skills that are essential to success in both industries.
