Shopping center will be taking shape in Riverstone
• Regency Centers Corp. will break ground on The Village at Riverstone, a 165,000-squarefoot shopping center at University Boulevard and LJ Parkway in the Riverstone community. The center will be anchored by a 100,000-square-foot Kroger. Regency plans to spend $30.5 million on the development, which will be marketed for lease by Baker Katz and open in spring 2018.
• Edifis Group, a Houston-based real estate firm founded by Josh Aruh, has purchased two shopping centers totaling 26,700 square feet in New Forest Crossing at the northwest corner of the Sam Houston Parkway and Wallisville Road. The property is fully leased, with Buffalo Wild Wings as a main tenant. The seller was InvenTrust.
• YogaOne Studios plans to open a location in Market Street in The Woodlands at 9595 Six Pines Drive above the Kate Spade store in January. The location, owned by Roger and Albina Rippy, will be the seventh YogaOne in the Houston area.
• Big Frog Custom
T-Shirts has leased 1,134 square feet in the Lonestar Crossing Shopping Center. Matt McKinnerney represented the landlord, Hunington Properties.
• Sport Chiropractic has leased 2,000 square feet at 6340 N. Eldridge Parkway from Capcor Eldridge. Ori Batagower of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord.
