DL — MARVIN WILSON, SR., EPISCOPAL

Ranked as the state’s top recruit and the top defensive tackle in the country, the Under Armour All-American and USA Today All-USA first-teamer posted 19 tackles for loss and nine sacks.

DL — K’LAVON CHAISSON, SR., NORTH SHORE

Last season’s Class 6A Division I final Defensive MVP anchored a North Shore defense that held six opponents to 14 points or less and helped lead the 12-2 Mustangs to the state quarterfin­als.

DL — COREY BETHLEY, SR., KATY

The District 19-6A Defensive MVP had four sacks and five tackles for loss during the regular season, leading Katy to its eighth consecutiv­e district title and third-round playoff appearance.

DL — KEONDRE COBURN, JR., WESTFIELD

Coburn is the latest standout lineman in a long line at Westfield, as the junior earned District 16-6A first-team honors in helping lead the Mustangs to Class 6A Division II state quarterfin­als.

LB — BRUCE BIVENS, SR., ALDINE DAVIS

The East Carolina commitment finished his senior season by earning all-state firstteam honors. He totaled 81 tackles (20½ for loss) to go with 14½ sacks and six forced fumbles.

LB — AMAUD WILLIS-DALTON, SR., CYPRESS RANCH

Willis-Dalton, who has a number of offers from Power Five programs, earned District 17-6A first-team honors in leading the Mustangs to a league title and unbeaten regular season.

LB — TERREL BERNARD, SR., LA PORTE

The UH commitment was named the District 22-6A Defensive MVP to go with second-team all-state honors after posting 179 total tackles, five sacks and four forced fumbles.

DB — NOAH DANIELS, SR., CLEAR CREEK

The talented defender — Daniels switched his commitment from Baylor to TCU — earned unanimous 24-6A first-team honors in leading the Wildcats to a seventh straight playoff trip.

DB — DERRICK TUCKER, SR., MANVEL

The Texas A&M commitment finished his four-year varsity career earning District 23-5A Defensive MVP honors, posting 60 total tackles, six intercepti­ons and two fumble recoveries.

DB — CHRISTIAN WALLER, JR., CLEAR SPRINGS

Waller was named to the AP Class 6A all-state first team and garnered 24-6A first-team honors, finishing second in the state with 10 intercepti­ons to go along with 11 passes broken up.

DB — MYLES JONES, SR., MAGNOLIA WEST

The Texas A&M commitment helped lead a defense that held four opponents to 10 or fewer points. Jones finished with two intercepti­ons in earning District 20-5A first-team honors.

UTL — TERRY PETRY, SR., RIDGE POINT

The District 20-6A Most Valuable Player did a little bit of everything for the Panthers, who went 11-1 in their 6A debut. Petry had two intercepti­ons and added 11 receiving touchdowns on offense.

P — AUSTIN FARRACK, SR., CYPRESS RIDGE

Farrack was unanimousl­y picked as the District 17-6A first-team punter, as the senior averaged 40.2 yards per attempt during the regular season for the Rams with a long of 55 yards.
