Barnes knows industry is all about people
Residential real estate is more personal than business, because it is all about people.
“I am honored to work with my clients regarding their homes. These are not only financial decisions, but also decisions regarding their quality of life, community and home,” said Lisa Barnes, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors.
Barnes and her agents are excited to join Cold- well Banker United, Realtors at its Bellaire office, for many reasons.
“For example, Coldwell Banker United, a national company, has an array of unlimited tools plus many other resources, which we are now able to offer our clients to ensure they are receiving the best service possible,” Barnes said.
Ten years ago, Barnes opened her own real estate firm, Lisa Barnes Properties.
“It has been an amazing phase in my life. I worked with and continue to work with the most talented agents. I am so grateful to all our clients in making my business a success all these years and I look forward to continuing to work with clients at Coldwell Banker,” Barnes said.
When it comes to customer service and hard work, Barnes has it in her DNA now. She put herself through college working as an apartment manager and waitress simultaneously. Both positions trained her well in meeting the needs of custom- ers and multitasking. This training transitioned well to real estate. She also started her real estate career in college, and has now held her license for almost 30 years.
After graduating with a business degree from the University of St. Thomas, she continued in real estate.
“I thoroughly love what I do, and it is my passion. My main focus area is in or near the 610 Loop,” Barnes said.
However, she goes where her clients need her, such as Fulshire to Galveston.
Barnes is a Certified Home Staging Specialist and stages all the homes she lists as a complementary service. She has also been a top producer for most of her career.
It remains a good time to buy or sell, as inventory is steady, interest rates are rising slowly and prices are lower than they have been in years.
“Again, I love and am honored to work with clients and I understand the importance of great service and how special our homes are to all of us,” Barnes said.
