Leasing assignments are handed out
JLL, Moody Rambin seeking tenants on west side of town
JLL and Moody Ram bin recently put a couple of leasing assignments on their to-do lists.
Skanska has hired JLL to handle leasing for its West Memorial Place office development in the Energy Corridor.
The campus, on 12 acres along Memorial Drive next to Terry Hershey Park, includes West Memorial Place I, with 331,000 square feet, and West Memorial Place II, measuring 385,000 square feet.
Both were built to attain LEED Platinum, the highest rating for energy efficiency, from the U.S. Green Building Council.
West Memorial Place I, completed in 2015, is 55 percent leased. West Memorial Place II, completed in 2016, is 45 percent leased. Amenities include a fitness center with locker rooms and showers, an on-site cafe, carwash services and a bike share program.
Bubba Harkins and Russell Hodges of JLL are marketing the properties, which were developed and financed by Skanska.
Skanska is also developing the 35-story Capitol Tower planned down town and Spring Crossing office park near The Woodlands. Skanska’s U.S. arm is based in New York.
In Bellaire, Accesso Partners has tasked Moody Rambin with finding tenants at 6330 West Loop South.
The 14-story building, built in the 1970s along Loop 610 at Bissonnet, totals 279,333 square feet. It has 40,054 square feet on the sixth and seventh floors upfor lease. Bob Cromwell and Kevin Nolan are handling the assignment. The building’s main tenants are Texas Children’s Health Plan and Chase Bank.
