WILLIAM THURMAN “BILL” BEARD

1927-2017

William Thurman “Bill” Beard was born in Trinity, Texas on January 25, 1927 and passed away on February 14, 2017 in Kerrville. Bill graduated Class of 1945 from Milby High School in Houston then attended Rice University to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in 1950.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joyce Richter Beard.

Memorial service will be 11 am, Saturday, March 04, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, Kerrville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
