Annual company celebrates top producers
Founder, Chairman and CEO John A. Daugherty Jr. and President and COO Cheri Fama hosted a reception to mark John Daugherty, Realtors’ success in 2016 at its annual Celebration Breakfast held at the Houston Country Club on Jan. 31.
Event highlights included Awards of Distinction, Special Agent Awards and the presentation of its top producers.
Awards of Distinction in seven categories were presented to four agents, including Lisa Kornhaus- er for the most closed listing transactions and the most expensive outgoing referral closed; Michael Silva for the highest number of listings, the most closed buyer transactions and the most closed total transactions; Renay Cohen for the most outgoing referrals sent and the most outgoing referrals closed; and Bill Dodson for the most outgoing referrals closed.
Emelie Mavligit was the recipient of The Rising Star honor. This award is presented each year to an agent who has been with the company for two years or less and has exhibited a significant increase in production, as well as growth as a real estate professional and involvement in community and charitable activities.
Rob Ginn was recipient of the Spirit Award for his strong loyalty, community service and dedication to the John Daugherty team.
This award recognizes an agent who has an attitude marked by enthusiasm, energy, courage, a strong dedication to the team spirit and is a positive force in the lives of others.
The company’s 31 top producers were recognized, followed by the top 10: Sabiha Rehmatulla, Andy Weber, Brian Spack, Thebe Warren, Sharon Dreyer, Cathy Cagle, Richard Ray, Michael Silva, Lisa Kornhauser and Laura Sweeney, the company’s No. 1 producer in 2016.
“We are so proud of our team,” Fama said. “We know that relation- ships and impeccable professionalism close transactions.”
Additionally, recognition was given to company departments, support staff, sales managers and associates in the executive office.
Special awards were given to the 2016 Employee of the Year, Donald Pardue, and the Accounting Department, which includes Donald Willmon, Shari Schiffman and Erin Hintz, received the 2016 Department of the Year award.
“2016 was a stellar year for our organization, marking the best and most successful year in our company’s 50-year history, and I give all the credit to our agents, support staff and every member in the John Daugherty, Realtors family,” Daugherty said.
“The luxury market remains very strong in Houston, and our economy’s diversification has kept the entire market healthy.”
