2017 CONCERT LINEUP
This is indeed the first rodeo for more than half of the acts on the 2017 RodeoHouston lineup. A total of 11 performers will take their inaugural spin on the revolving stage inside NRG Stadium, including girl group Fifth Harmony, Texas country star Aaron Watson and pop-punk holdover Blink-182.
This year also will see debuts from pop starlet Meghan Trainor and country acts Chris Stapleton, Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett.
DJ duo The Chainsmokers and countrypop heartthrob Sam Hunt also will make their RodeoHouston debuts.
Go Tejano Day looks poised to break another attendance record with its own pair of debuts: banda act Banda El Recodo and norteño act Siggno from Texas. Go Tejano Day currently holds the top three paid-attendance records.
A handful of veteran acts also are on the RodeoHouston bill.
Willie Nelson returns to the lineup after more than a decade and should be a hot ticket. Alan Jackson will celebrate his 23rd RodeoHouston performance. Brad Paisley makes his 11th go-round.
Luke Bryan and ZZ Top each notch No. 6 this year. Bryan is always a big draw and holds four of the top 20 paid-attendance records.
