Most votes: real winner
Regarding “Did A&M favor diversity over right to due process? (Page A15, Thursday), Rick Perry is not the only one feeling the frustration of the inequity of student Robert McIntosh losing the election of Texas A&M student-body president, even though he won by more than 750 votes.
This does not seem right and reflects unfairly the voice of the university’s students. That, plus the fact that it was based on an extremely minor infraction— lack of a receipt filed for glow sticks. Fine the young man, reprimand him, but do not take away the office that he was legitimately elected to.
