UT men win 3rd consecutive NCAA swim title
INDIANAPOLIS — Texas won four of seven events and set NCAA records in each of them Saturday night en route to winning its third consecutive NCAA men’s swimming and diving title.
The Longhorns and coach Eddie Reese won their NCAA-leading 13th national crown with 542 points — 193 points more than second-place California. Florida was third with 294½ points.
Texas shattered seven NCAA records and three American records in its four-day romp to the title.
