Two more events coming up for Elyson Takes Flight series
Visitors can save the dates for April 8 and May 6 to visit Elyson, a new community in the Katy Independent School District, for free family-friendly activities and the chance to win prizes in the Elyson Takes Flight series.
On Saturday, April 8, from noon-4 p.m., Elyson invites home shoppers to “Float Like a Butterfly” as The Bike Zoo takes over with its menagerie of giant, playful and interactive bikes.
Other activities will include inflatables, stilt walkers, music and a butterfly release.
Visitors can register to win a free $500 Southwest Airlines gift card on April 8.
Home shoppers can receive a free $10 gift card to Elyson’s Rorick Kitchen cafe after visiting the Model Home Village, showcasing new models priced from the mid $200,000s to $600,000s by Chesmar, Darling, David Weekley, Highland, Perry, Pulte, Trendmaker and Westin.
Entry forms and rules for the gift card giveaways are readily available at Rorick House, a new community center that is the focal point of all fun spring activities at Elyson.
Also, visitors can save the date for Saturday, May 6, when Elyson ends this series with “Let’s Go Fly a Kite.” This day will feature performances by the Houston Disc Dogs, kite giveaways, kite-themed crafts, a giant rock wall and more.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to win another $500 Southwest Airlines gift card and receive gift cards to Rorick Kitchen on May 6. No purchase is necessary. Entry forms are readily available, and each entry has an equal chance of winning.
These events celebrate nature and springtime at Elyson, which will devote more than 750 acres of its master plan to parks, trails, recreation centers and natural open spaces.
