56, passed away March 28, 2017 in Humble, Texas. Stan was born November 5, 1960 in Flagstaff, Arizona yet raised in the Humble and Kingwood area. He graduated from Humble High School with the class of 1979. After graduation he began working for Continenta­l Airlines and continued his award winning service with them for 33 years. Throughout Stan’s life he enjoyed working with computers, playing and listening to music, movies, and he especially enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. Some of his favorite times were spent on weekends at the ballpark watching Fast-Pitch Softball. Stan will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for his incredible sense of humor as well as his unmatched gift for story-telling. Friends have coined him the greatest story-teller ever due to his “Gift”. He found happiness not in telling the stories but in the joy and laughter that his story-telling brought to others. Stan Holland is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Stacy (Engelke) Holland; Children Leigha Doyle and Kimberly Orlando and husband, Thomas: A Grandson, Aiden Orlando: his Mother, Te-Ata Mueller and her husband Don; Parents-in-Law, Larry and Barbara Engelke; Siblings; Donald, Pamela, William Holland: a brotherin-law; Jeff Engelke and wife Suzanne: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Holland Sr. The family wishes to thank ALL of their friends for the incredible amount of love and support they have received. A special thank you to the incredible team of care-givers whom work tirelessly and extended hours to care for those with Traumatic Brain Injury in the Houston area: Sincerest Thanks to the dedicated team of physicians and therapists who provided Stan with exceptiona­l care and love for the past 11 years. They are truly the Best of the Best, and the family will remain forever grateful. In accordance with Stan’s wishes, a graveside Celebratio­n of Life will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas.
