GEORGE BYRON JAMISON II 1946-2017
Byron was born in Houston, Tx on April 18,1946 and passed away peacefully in Austin, Tx on Friday, March 24,2017 after a long, painful battle with a brain injury he suffered from an auto accident in June, 2011.
Byron grew up in Houston, and graduated from MB Lamar HS in 1964. He graduated from the University of Texas in electrical engineering in 1969 and UT Law school, Order of the Coif, in 1972. He practiced patent law in both Houston and Dallas, and finally retired to his family farm in Brenham, Tx in 2011. Byron had a passion for travel, fast cars, dirt bike motorcycles, and playing his harmonica. He lived a very full and blessed life and will be greatly missed. May his gentle soul now rest in peace.
Byron was predeceased by his father, George B. Jamison . He is survived by his mother, Luene Jamison Harmer; his sister, Janice Bammel; his daughters, Melanie Jamison, Jennifer Grow, Laura O”Gan; grandchildren Kye Babin, David Grow V, Paxton Grow, Jamison O’Gan, Dalton Grow; the mother of his children, Virginia MacNaughton Palmer and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
