Phillips going strong in local real estate market
The Woodlands and Lake Conroe are part of a strong real estate market with outstanding inventory and reasonable interest rates.
“These areas are growing rapidly, with new developments opening almost daily. It is also a diverse market, and has a relaxed atmosphere,” said Bill Phillips, a Realtor with John Daugherty, Realtors.
Phillips has lived on Lake Conroe for 17 years and appreciates all the area offers.
“As a Realtor, it is extremely important for me to be knowledgeable about these areas, our schools, and the amenities that are often a main interest of clients,” Phillips said.
Phillips was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, attended Texas Lutheran College on a basketball and baseball scholarship and graduated in 1985 with a bachelor’s in art.
“After graduation, I worked in different areas around the country, but maintained a home base in the Houston area,” Phillips said.
Today, his home territory is his main focus area. However, because he works with numerous corporate relocation transferees who are moving in and out of Houston, he efficiently covers and is knowledgeable about Houston and surrounding areas.
Phillips has been a in real estate for 15 years.
“After leaving my previous career, a friend and a successful Realtor told me I had the perfect personality and work ethic to be a great Realtor. So, I followed his suggestion and never looked back,” Phillips said.
In his previous career, it was important for him to listen attentively to his clients; work with a diverse clientele; and possess a work ethic, knowledge base and experience that instilled trust. He has brought these skills to his real estate career.
He is also known for his professionalism, efficiency, patience and being eventempered. These traits, clients say, have a calming and reassuring effect during a time that can be stressful.
These skills, plus many others are appreciated by his clients and have helped paved the way for the many awards and honors he has received.
He also has continued his education to ensure his clients receive the best possible service. Some of the certificate and designations include Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification.
He also is certified with numerous relocation companies worldwide.
