Miss Elizabeth Gardner Simon Weds Mr. Nicolas Oliver Cersosimo

Miss Elizabeth Gardner Simon and Mr. Nicolas Oliver Cersosimo were united in marriage at five o’clock in the evening on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Cedar Creek, Texas. Reverend Eric Gates of Central Christian Church in Austin, Texas officiated the ceremony. Music for the double ring ceremony was performed by Terra Vista Strings. An outdoor reception immediately followed with dancing under the stars accompanied by the music of Intensity.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Houston Johnson and Dr. and Mrs. Terry Lee Simon, all of whom are of Houston, Texas. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Hoy, the late Mr. James E. Lyon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Simon.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Michael Cersosimo of Austin, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Koen Shelton, Jr., Ms. Lois Lenore Cersosimo, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cersosimo.

Escorted by her fathers and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a full length romantic gown designed by Mira Zwillinger. The gown featured a fitted silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and a chapel length train and veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses, ranunculas, tulips, and sweet peas with green foliage.

Miss Virginia Simon, twin sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Brooke Barit, Mrs. Jane DeWalch, Miss Alice Carroll Johnson, Mrs. Courtney Jones, Mrs. Rachel McConn, and Mrs. Kelly Tausend. Miss Isabella Koch, niece of the bride, served as Junior Bridesmaid. The bridesmaids wore sage green gowns and carried bouquets of white flowers and greenery. Flower girls were Miss Buckley Graffagnini, cousin of the bride and Miss Merritt Johnson, niece of the bride.

Mr. Charles Bryant and Mr. Jackson Cersosimo, brother of the groom served as best men. Groomsmen were Mr. Austin Holloway, Mr. Bradley Jones, Mr. Matthew Preston, Mr. Joshua Talley, Mr. Jake Wheeler, and Mr. Moises Guzman, serving as honorary groomsman. Ring bearers were Masters Gage and Grant Bukowski, and Masters Gatlin and Grayson Graffagnini, all cousins of the bride. Ushers were Mr. Benjamin Koch, Mr. Hunter Koch, Mr. Patrick Simon, Mr. Zachary Simon, all nephews of the bride, and Mr. Cade Shelton, cousin of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of the Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. She attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She is currently employed at Realty Pros of Austin in Austin, Texas.

The groom is a graduate of Lanier High School in Austin, Texas and graduated with a B.A. in Marketing from Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas. He is currently employed at The Boon Group in Austin, Texas.

The couple will reside in Austin, Texas.
