JOANNE PETERSAVAGE

1924-2017

-

Joanne Lee Weber Petersavage passed away surrounded by family on April 21, 2017, at her home in Houston, Texas.

She was born July 29, 1924, to Harold and Edith Milan Weber. She grew up alongside her older sister Dorothy, whom she shared many fond childhood memories with in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. Joanne retired in 1986 from the Naval Station Puget Sound at Sand Point as the Executive Accountant. After retiring, Joanne spent time with friends, family and the love of her life, Walter Petersavage. Joanne had many friends, she lived her life to the fullest, and she never knew a stranger. She loved music, so she was always singing at home, in the car, and at Piano Bars when she was given the opportunity to shine. There was never a dull moment in her life, even at the age of 92. We know that she is singing and dancing in Heaven because she is finally with her son, David, who was taken from her at the young age of 12.

Joanne is survived by her two daughters, Coty and Joanne, her five grandchildren, Michael, Brett, Nicole, Gust and Benjamin, 15 great-grandchildren, Dayton, David, Lacie, Lachlan, Zerik, Lauren, Tiffiny, Lana, Corrin, Gust Jr., Gabriel, Joshua, Zachery, Caleb, and Mia, two great-great-grandchildren, Christian and Annaleigh, and her niece and nephew, Michael and Tamea. Joanne is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, son, and husband.

A celebration of her life will be at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas on May 5, 2017.
