Earthquakes

A strong magnitude 5.7 temblor in northeastern Iran left three people dead and 200 others injured. The shaking caused widespread damage near the Turkmenistan border.

• Earth movements also were felt in northwestern Kyrgyzstan and northern Oklahoma.
