Douglas Sterling Cain, President and owner of Lake Truck Lines, Inc. was born on November 20, 1954 in Houston, TX. He passed away on May 6, 2017 in San Antonio, TX after a three year battle with bile duct cancer. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. Cain. He is survived by his mother, Merlene Cain of Katy, TX, his wife Lisa Cain and daughter Erin Cain of San Antonio, TX. Doug is also survived by many beloved friends that he considered his family.

A Funeral Mass to honor Doug’s life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church, 111 Barilla Place, San Antonio, TX 78209. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation or Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, Inc.
