Linda Quillin Foster Mooney, 75, of New Ulm, Texas, formerly of Houston, passed away on May 18, 2017 following a lengthy illness.

She was born on February 5, 1942 to Marvin J. and Eloise (Shearin) Quillin in Jonesboro, Arkansas and grew up in Bellaire, graduating from Bellaire HS in 1959. She then got married and raised her three wonderful children in Houston. Linda later remarried and moved to the New Ulm, TX area.

She is survived by her son, Frank E. Foster III and wife Melissa of Cypress, TX; daughters, Alicia Curry and husband Pat of Crawford, TX, and Lara Butler and husband Kenny of Florence, Mississipp­i; sisters, Molly Rau and husband Robert J. of Baton Rouge, LA, and Patsy Deal and husband Frank of Midlothian, Virginia; father of her children, Frank E. Foster, Jr. of Crockett, TX; eight grandchild­ren and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, William J. “Bill” Scott, Jr., and David Mooney.
