Sotheby’s International Realty leaders visit Houston

-

Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty recently hosted 42 broker managers and senior leaders from the Eastern and Western regions of Sotheby’s International Realty.

The MTSIR Tuesday morning sales meeting served as a backdrop for the Houston Realtors to become acquainted with these top professionals and learn from their vast background of experience.

Sotheby’s International Realty President and Chief Executive Officer, Kathryn Korte, addressed the gathering and shared the success of the company with the standing-room-only crowd. Approximately 130 MTSIR sales agents were present, including those who drove in from the Kingwood and The Woodlands offices. A very active referral business is enjoyed between the company-owned stores, and the MTSIR agents welcomed the opportunity to individually meet these outstanding managers.

Founder and Chairman Emeritus Martha Turner’s inspirational message was entitled, “what is your focus?” noting that a majority see obstacles while winners focus on achieving their goals.

Three broker managers participated on a panel that addressed universal real estate issues. Jeffrey Gibson, Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage manager of the San Francisco and Wine Country offices; Diane Levine, brokerage manager in Manhattan; and Marc Giroux, brokerage manager of Los Feliz brokerage on the east side of Los Angeles, motivated everyone with their words of advice and comments relating to situations that are common to all Realtors. Enthusiasm filled the room as each expounded and elaborated on the effectiveness of different tools they use to garner business.

The multi-day meetings focused on discussing future strategies, best practices, lessons learned and idea networking.
