Pomona celebrates 100th homeowner
Pomona, Hillwood Communities’ 1,000-acre Live Smart residential community in Manvel, is celebrating the move-in of their 100th homeowner.
“We’re excited to hit this milestone, said Russ Bynum, general manager for Hillwood Communities. It was a great experience seeing all of our families come together recently at our Pomona Ultimate Block Party event. Seeing the families enjoy the amenities and lifestyle Pomona has to offer was heartwarming,” Bynum said.
In addition to the homes, setting and amenities, Pomona residents are enjoying living in Pomona because of the lifestyle it offers.
Another reason to celebrate is Perry Homes will join this summer the group of builders that includes Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Plantation Homes and Trendmaker Homes. Two models are under construction, and Highland Homes is also under construction with a new model home, giving buyers even more choices at Pomona in the 50-foot lot section.
All builders are offering homes priced from the mid-$200,000s to $600,000s, with a wide selection of innovative floor plans for those that want to build, or offers several new homes at various stages of construction for those needing immediate move-in.
This summer, residents are enjoying the recently opened Camp Pomona. The camp features two resort-style pools, nine cabanas, a state-of-the-art “exploration zone” and an event lawn that overlooks the bayou, serving as a gathering place for residents.
In addition to Camp Pomona, residents enjoy the popular Fish Camp with a stocked 5-acre lake, pier and fishing hut with seating. It’s no wonder families love living at Pomona.
Children living in Pomona will be part of the Alvin ISD, where students will attend Pomona Elementary, Rodeo Palms Junior High and Shadow Creek High. Pomona Elementary is nearing completion and will be open this August. The on-site school is within walking distance for Pomona’s youngest residents.
