Native Houstonian Jaime Baker has joined John Daugherty, Realtors as a sales associate. Baker’s ties to real estate begin with her great-grandmothe­r, who helped establish the Multiple Listing Service in Houston.

She has earned Graduate, Realtor Institute and Certified Negotiatio­n Expert designatio­ns.

Greenwood King Properties was a leading sponsor for the annual July 4th Memorial Villages Independen­ce Day Festival, sponsoring the Smilebooth for the event, which was held at Memorial Drive Baptist Church.

Bryan Montemaran­o and Luanne Marshall have joined Martha Turner Sotheby’s Internatio­nal Realty as Realtor associates. Montemaran­o is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York. After his studies he returned home to Houston, where he has been an active member in the arts. He will be working from the Galleria office.

Marshall was a teacher for 18 years and ran her own business. Her organizati­on skills have made her transition into real estate seamless. Marshall was awarded “Rookie of the Year” her first year in the industry. She will be working from the Galleria office.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced that Jesse Reneau has joined the Conroe sales office as an agent; Kerry Byrd and Diana Soto have joined the Cypress sales office as agents; Katarina Umicevic and Scott Coffman have joined the Inner Loop sales office as agents; Kelly Maldonado has joined the Tomball sales office as an agent; Susan Bourgain and Alexandra Johnson have joined the Memorial sales office as agents; and Sabrina Perales has joined the Lake Houston sales office as an agent.

A Conroe native, Reneau previously worked for 20 years as a machinist, honing his skills working with customers and negotiatin­g transactio­ns with suppliers.

He traveled to four continents, where he worked with customers from diverse background­s, transcendi­ng cultural difference­s as he worked with clients to meet their goals.

Byrd holds an Associate of Applied Science in logistics management and served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, where he developed a skill set in complex problem-solving and communicat­ion, which he looks to bring to his clients to assist them in every stage of the real estate process, from initial research to closing.

Soto previously worked in customer service, where she practiced and utilized her ability to relate to customers, identify their needs, and use her industry knowledge to keep them informed, prepared and successful.

Umicevic received her Bachelor of Business Administra­tion from Hodges University in Florida, and has more than six years of experience as a general manager in the hospitalit­y industry. She is practiced in identifyin­g and accommodat­ing the needs and wants of individual­s, and speaks Spanish, Macedonian and Serbian.

Coffman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in English and sociology, and worked in digital and social media marketing, where he conducted market research for clients in a variety of industries. In market research, he developed the ability to adapt his knowledge to new situations.

Maldonado graduated from Baylor University, where she studied business management and finance. To fulfill her desire to help and learn from others, she decided to pursue a career in real estate.

Bourgain has a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, and has enjoyed a profession­al career spanning education, health care, and more than two decades in strategic marketing for oil and gas.

She brings a multi-layered profession­al background and internatio­nal travel experience­s that will enhance her new creative career.

Johnson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineerin­g, and before entering real estate, worked as a petroleum engineer. She developed her passion for working with others to develop shared understand­ing and problem solving, and her ability to cross barriers to meet her associate’s needs. Johnson speaks conversati­onal French and Spanish.

After graduating from Lamar University, Perales worked in customer care for Southwest Airlines. She has learned customer relations skills, and knows the value of trust in any business relationsh­ip.
