Domino’s ‘pizza theater’ to have its Katy premiere
Domino’s will hold a grand opening this week of a “pizza theater” in Katy as the latest store in a new design that aims to bring elements such as indoor seating, a viewing area of pizza preparations and free Wi-Fi to all 5,400 U.S. stores by year-end. The new Katy Domino’s will bring elements not found in a traditional store, such as booths with phone charging stations and a drive-thru window for carry-out orders. The companyowned location is one of about 140 Domino’s in the greater Houston area, according to the chain. The stores range from small locations with bar-stool seating to larger stores with indoor seating for 30, and private rooms for parties.
CityVet, a veterinarian-owned group of practices headquartered in Dallas, is opening a Houston location at 1928 Fountain View south of San Felipe in the Galleria area. CityVet provides veterinary care, full-service boarding and grooming, and a healthy pet products retail store at 10 locations. The new location, which will hold a grand opening Sept. 16, is in partnership with veterinarian Jonathan Quan.
The Escape Game, a Nashvillebased escape room concept with eight locations, has leased nearly 4,000 square feet in Midway’s CityCentre for its Houston debut in early 2018. The Escape Game will be adjacent to Grimaldi’s on Sorella Court.
Liberation Project has leased 15,456 square feet at 501 FM 1092 in Stafford. Lauren Shepperd of Retail Solutions represented the tenant.
Sprint has leased 1,750 square feet in Sam Houston Town Center at Interstate 45 and FM 1097, Willis, from NewQuest Properties. Zack Sturgeon of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Andrew Bagnall and Mark Sondock of Stream Realty Partners represented the tenant.
Sport Clips has leased 1,400 square feet in Marketplace at Ninety-Six, at League City Parkway and Hobbs Road, League City, from NewQuest Properties. Rebecca Le of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Richard Buxbaum of Radius Realty Advisors represented the tenant.
Jersey Mike’s Subs has leased 1,380 square feet in Shoppes at Grand Crossing, at Interstate 10 and Texas 99, Katy. Ashley Strickland of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, POG Kosmos 1099 LP. Lane Zieben and Lasater Miller of the Retail Connection represented the tenant.
