Mather knows importance of building relationships with clients
Lynn Mather, a Realtor with John Daugherty, Realtors, has been a top producer for many years and has been inducted into the John Daugherty Hall of Fame.
“My career is still exciting to me, and I look forward to going to the office every day, and working with my clients,” Mather said.
After over 40 years in the real estate industry, Mather has gained quite a following of loyal clients, for many reasons.
Mather is a spiritual person who not only enthusiastically supports her clients but also assists numerous civic and philanthropic organizations. Client loyalty and client referrals mean the world to Mather.
“Client loyalty means I am reaching my goal of providing top-notch customer care, doing my homework, and working hard for my clients. I feel successful when my clients are successful in meeting their real estate goals,” Mather said.
Mather’s colleagues at John Daugherty, as well as her clients, have brought much joy to her life.
When it comes to excelling in real estate sales, she said relationship building is extremely important.
Through hard work, perseverance and determination, Mather has built and maintained a loyal client base, often handling transactions for several generations of the same family.
Mather understands that to build a successful real estate business, Realtors need constant training, learning new technology and staying tuned-in to the market.
They are consistently in touch with and communicating with clients, both past and present.
Over the decades that Mather has been in the business, she has established and updated a great list of vendors.
“This list is important because often people need resources. For example, during Hurricane Harvey, I too was affected by the storm. As Harvey passed, I turned to those same vendors for help so I was able to open my home to displaced friends,” Mather said. “We are ‘Houston Strong.’ I am very thankful to be living and working in Houston and extremely proud to be a part of our real estate community. We are Texans. We are resolute. We pull together; we help one another. We rebuild,” Mather said.
