Hamilton enjoys ‘finding that right match’ for clients
Unless you have been through a real estate transaction, it is hard to understand all of the moving parts and behind-the-scenes work Realtors handle for their clients.
“As Realtors, we handle a tremendous amount of problem solving, and there are so many moving parts to get to the closing table. I operate at a very high energy level. Every transaction is different, and equal attention is devoted to all transactions, regardless of price. Experience does matters,” said Kathryn R. Hamilton, a Realtor with John Daugherty Realtors.
Hamilton, a topproducing Realtor since 1994, has been in real estate for more than two decades, and obtained her license after graduating for the University of Texas at Austin with an English degree, which helps when writing listings, advertising properties and other documentation.
“A good friend thought I would make a good Realtor, and my husband said, ‘do it,” so I did. I enjoy all of the perks, such as meeting so many wonderful people, and my clients usually become friends,” Hamilton said.
Each client is different, and their goals are different. Therefore, Hamilton works with those interested in newconstruction, single-family homes, townhomes, high-rises and land acquisition.
“I sincerely love what I do, and it is also a pleasure to tour the new home listings, for each has their own personality. However, at the end of the day, it is about the buyers and sellers, and finding that right match,” Hamilton said.
Moreover, as a native Houstonian, she knows the city and the surrounding areas, which her clients appreciate when looking for a new abode. Plus, this is a great time to buy, with interest rates remaining low and a many homes on the market.
Hamilton’s focus area is mainly from downtown to beyond the beltway — wherever clients are located and where they are interested.
Hamilton is known for being organized, with excellent communication skills, market knowledge, providing above-average customer service and having a focus on details.
“I am thankful I listened to my friend, because I love everything about real estate, and it is an honor to work with each of my clients,” Hamilton said.
