WHEN THE TEXANS PASS
It’s too much to expect Deshaun Watson to have another performance like the Tennessee game in which he threw four touchdown passes. He has six in the last two games and seven for the season. Getting back Will Fuller, their fastest receiver, should keep a safety shaded to his side while the Chiefs put Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters on DeAndre Hopkins, the league’s leading receiver. With Fuller going deep and clearing out the middle of the field, that should open up space for Hopkins and tight end Ryan Griffin for intermediate and short routes. Watch for Watson to go early and often to Hopkins, who has drawn a leaguehigh seven interference penalties. Outside linebacker Justin Houston and end Chris Jones must get pressure on Watson.
