Aquilon Energy Services has leased 4,619 square feet at Esperson, 808 Travis. The company, based near Chicago, developed the Energy Settlement Network, a cloud-based platform to automate wholesale energy settlements. Reggie Beavan and Evan Roland of Jackson Cooksey represented the tenant. Jano Nixon Kelley of Cameron Management represented the landlord. Colony NorthStar has acquired the Bayou Bend Business Park, 8520 S. Sam Houston Parkway West, as part of a national portfolio. The fully leased property, developed by Stream Realty in partnership with Thackeray Partners, consists of two buildings totaling 378,380 square feet. CBRE National Partners brokered the deal. Denver-based Industrial Property Trust has purchased a 133,480-square-foot industrial building at 7350 Langfield and then leased it back to its current occupant, T&L Distributing. Dustin Volz, Kevin McConn, Zane Marcell and Grant Matthews of JLL handled the deal. Warrior Creek Realty, an affiliate of the Houstonbased flooring distributor that occupies the building, purchased the property. It is one of seven regional warehouses serving Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Arkansas.
Starplast, an Israel-based manufacturer of household plastic products, has leased 181,540 square feet at Point North, 8111 FM 1960. Ryan Fuselier and Travis Secor of JLL represented the tenant. David Hudson of Duke Realty represented the landlord.
Hennessey Cos. has purchased 4.7 acres at the southeast corner of Kingsland Drive and the Grand Parkway in Kingsplace Park from Mac Haik Realty. Brandon Poynter of Mac Haik Management represented the seller. The properties will be developed into professional and commercial office buildings. Poynter also represented Mac Haik Realty in the sale of the 13,650-square-foot, 100 percent occupied retail center at 23225 Kingsland Blvd. to an out-of-state buyer. 3000 purchased Apartments,Parkway, NASA Seabrook.the 3010 Parkway 216-unitE. Clint NASA Edgelakehas Duncanof CBRE and representedMatt Phillipsthe seller, Omaha, Neb.-based SEC Edgelake. The new owner plans further upgrades to the complex, which was built in 1984 and is 95 percent occupied. Becht Engineering Co. has leased 4,492 square feet at 14200 Gulf Freeway, and Aztec Engineering Group has leased 1,406 square feet in the building.
