Urgent care chain picks site in Katy

Care has leased a 1.55-acre site in Grand Morton Town Center at the Grand Parkway and Morton Ranch Road, Katy, from NewQuest Properties, for its first area location. The West Virginia provider is building a 4,700-squarefoot urgent care center. Josh Friedlander and Rebecca Le of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Stephen Tou and Zac Hoffer of the Retail Connection represented the tenant.
Waffle House has purchased a 0.44-acre site at Shops at Spring Town Center from NewQuest Properties. Bob Conwell and Ashley Strickland of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Drew Joiner of Waffle House represented the buyer. The center is at FM 2920 and Kuykendahl Road in Spring.
Mac Haik Realty has sold two tracts at the Grand Parkway and Kingsland Boulevard in Kingsplace Park, according to Brandon Poynter, president of Mac Haik Management. Randy Dishongh will develop a Mason Jar restaurant on 2 acres. Johnny Carrabba plans to open another Mia’s restaurant on 1.7 acres. Both are expected to open by mid-2018, Poynter said.
Chuy’s has opened a restaurant at 3525 E. Sam Houston Parkway South at Vista Road in Pasadena. It represents the Austinbased chain’s ninth location in the Houston area.
Pandora Jewelry has opened a 1,520-square-foot store in Deerbrook Mall at U.S. 59 and FM 1960.
Fix My Phone has leased 1,150 square feet for a store on Rice Boulevard at Kelvin Drive. Josh Friedlander and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, RPI Management. Ryan Holliday of Transwestern represented the tenant.
Rounders Poker Room has leased 3,082 square feet at Cypresswood Plaza, 230 Cypresswood Drive, Spring. Jim Thompson and Alan Vieyra of Retail Solutions represented the landlord.
Pho Epic has leased 2,500 square feet at Katy Ranch Crossing, 24811 Katy Freeway, Katy. Benny Nguyen of Retail Solutions represented the tenant. David Oliphant of Freeway Properties represented the landlord.
