MARTHA EICKENROHT

1934-2017

Martha was born in Kircheim am Neckar, Germany on July 31, 1934. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11th.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob Moench and Marie Bezner Moench, Her sisters Erna Weiss and Hermine Ressler and brother Kurt Moench. She is survived by her husband Ralph Eickenroht; her children Heidi Schulte and husband John and Steven Eickenroht and wife Selena; two grandchildren Jacob Schulte and Emily Schulte; brother Werner Moench; sister Maria Weber and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha moved to the US in 1957 to marry Ralph, they moved to Spring in 1958 where she worked and raised their family. Martha was very active in volunteer work at school and day care before she worked full time at Wells Fargo bank as a teller for 19 years.

She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother and Nana who was always providing encouragement, care and support to those around her which included all family and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

The family wishes to thank all the members of Autumn Grove Cottage for their loving care in the last year of her life.

The family will greet friends 5-7PM, Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017 at Klein Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 11AM, Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at Immanuel United Church, 26501 Border St., Spring, TX 77373.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
