MRS. JUDY ANN PELTIER

1941-2017

Mrs. Judy Ann Peltier, age 76, of Houston, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, in Sugarland.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2017, in the Macune Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Burl McBride officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church, located at FM 705 South at CR 315, San Augustine County, Texas. 75972. Burial will follow in the Macune Cemetery adjacent to the Church.

Judy was born January 29, 1941, in Angleton, Texas, to the late Erlene (Henry) Clegg and Gordon Riley Clegg. She graduated from Angleton High School in 1958. She met and later married Charles Patrick Peltier at the Iowa Colony Dance Hall in 1961, and had 40 years of matrimony until his death in January of 2000. She worked for a few different financial firms in downtown Houston including Drexal and Smith Barney eventually ending up at the gallery tower until she retired at the age of 50. She was very active in gardening, and had a wonderful green thumb, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by, Sons, Tommy Wayne Peltier and his wife, Kelley of Houston and Patrick Duane Peltier and his wife, Karen of Houston; and a sister-in-law, Katie Clegg. Her beloved grandchildren, Alexis, Victoria, and Lauren, Alycia, Randy and April; loved her girls, “poodle dogs”; Step-sisters, Jeanette Clegg Brown; Cindy Clegg Gilliam and Shelly Clegg Pelton; Step-brothers, Lloyd Clegg and Jimmy Clegg; along with numerous other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Patrick Peltier; Her parents, Gordon and Erlene Clegg; Son, David Scott Peltier; Sister, Lynda Cox, and Brother, Billy Wayne Clegg.
