Miss Jennifer Elizabeth Henzler weds Mr. Zachary Daniel Salcich

Miss Jennifer Elizabeth Henzler and Mr. Zachary Daniel Salcich were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at four o’clock in the afternoon at the Burguières Family Chapel of the Sacred Heart at Duchesne Academy in Houston, Texas. Reverend Francis M. Macatangay officiated the ceremony, with Kathy Manley as cantor and James Stovall as accompanist. Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception with music by 5th Avenue at The Houstonian. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s father and stepmother at Maggiano’s Little Italy.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Anthony Henzler of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Anthony Leo Henzler and the late Mr. Henzler of Arnold, Missouri and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Valeton Gordon of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The groom is the son of Ms. Teresa Marie Salcich of Stafford, Texas and Mr. Daniel Paul Salcich of Spring, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Alvin John Papich and the late Mr. Papich of Portage, Indiana and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Solcich Jr. of Whiting, Indiana.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace gown featuring a bateau neckline with fitted bodice and a full trumpet skirt. Covered buttons down the back led to a chapel train with a beautiful scalloped lace hem. The bride chose a chapel length drop veil to complement her gown. She carried a garden style bouquet of polar star roses, lisianthus, and astrantia eucalyptus. The bouquet was wrapped with lace from her mother’s veil.

Kristen Andree, college friend of the bride served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Salcich, sister of the groom and Raquel Cruz, Margo Flynn and Amanda Ho, all high school friends of the bride. Diane Wheeler, cousin and goddaughter of the bride, served as the flower girl.

Andrew Salcich, brother of the groom, and Matthew Poole, high school friend of the groom, served as co-best men. Groomsmen were Andrew Brock and Jacob Ames, college friends of the groom, and Tyler Liberatore, high school friend of the groom.

Jennifer is a 2007 graduate of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. She attended the University of Notre Dame, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, in 2011 and Master’s degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, in 2012. She is a manager with the firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston, Texas. Zachary is a 2007 graduate of Clear Brook High School. He attended Schreiner University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Music in 2012. He works in client support for Fiserv Output Solutions.

Following a honeymoon to Vienna followed by a cruise to Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece the couple will reside in Houston.
