• ArtSee: The reopening of The Woodlands Mall and Arts Council’s “Spotlight on the Arts Gallery” on the second floor of the mall adjacent to the mall offices on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 5-7 p.m. Don’t miss “HeArts for Hope,” a new multimedia piece, conceived by Jackie Impey and Jill Behrens and created by Woodlands Arts League artists and the community during the 2017 Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in collaboration with “Cassidy Joined for Hope,” a local nonprofit suicide prevention organization. This is literally art filled with lots of hearts. www.thewoodlandsmall.com. • ArtHear: Free Hindustani music at the Diwali Mela Festival of Lights on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m at The Woodlands Hindu Temple. • ArtMeet: One of The Woodlands’ hidden mosaic gems, “Strata”, by Houston-based artist Dixie Friend Gay. This geological slice of the earth is located in the stairwell of 21 Waterway Square next door to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
