March primary election drawing numerous contested races

The 2018 political season is heating up in Montgomery County as residents begin announcing their candidacy for a number of local and statewide positions.

The primary election is scheduled for March 6.

Candidacy filing period runs from Nov. 11 to Dec. 11.

Early voting will begin Feb. 20 and end March 2.

The last day to register to vote in the March 6 election is Feb. 5.
