Texas Grand Ranch reports new section is now open
Texas Grand Ranch, a Patten Companies acreage community north of Houston, announces a new section of 2- to 5-acre homesites are now available, priced from $59,900, with access to I-45 and The Woodlands.

Just days after Hurricane Harvey, Texas Grand Ranch property owners received updates that the community, averaging 325 feet in elevation, remained high and dry.
“I came out from Houston, which was totally under water, to Texas Grand Ranch to see how the neighborhood did, and throughout the neighborhood, regardless of the elevation, I saw no areas where there was evidence of water on the roads, so this neighborhood drains perfectly. There’s no standing water anywhere . ... This is where I decided to build,” said a Texas Grand Ranch property owner.
“The reality is there are needs out there. Some (people) are going to relocate after Hurricane Harvey,” said Houston radio personality Michael Berry. “A lot of people are saying ‘I don’t want to be in a low-lying area ever again.’ At a time like this, a lot of folks are looking for higher ground. Texas Grand Ranch did not flood; they didn’t even lose power.”
Since land sales began, Texas Grand Ranch has continued to sell at a record pace. At the last new section opening, 100 homesites sold in a matter of days.
“This new section will be the last new release of 2017. We’re open every day and so are our model homes,” said Gary Hoven, sales manager.
