He spreads the ball to receivers Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and Sammy Watkins. He also loves to get running back Todd Gurley isolated against a linebacker. Their passing game ranks 10th (250.3 yards). The Texans are 21st in pass defense (243.1). Woods and Watkins are deep threats. Kupp is a productive rookie. Goff gets time to find them on deep routes. He has been sacked only 10 times in eight games. Unless Jadeveon Clowney ignites a consistent pass rush, Goff will be the most recent quarterback to throw for multiple touchdowns against the Texans.
