Trump talks ‘America first’ in Asia tour
President Donald Trump spent the week bouncing around Asia, his moods swinging from deferential and complimentary to fiery and furious, especially in veiled — and not-so veiled — threats to North Korea.
In South Korea on Tuesday, Trump struck a more conciliatory tone in international relations, suggesting in Seoul that “we’re making progress” in resolving the issue of Pyongyang’s nuclear program.
On Friday, Trump honored military veterans at memorial in Vietnam, which was followed by the APEC leaders’ summit, in which Trump vowed that the U.S. would no longer be taken advantage of by what he called unfair trade policies.
