Garden Oaks to have Stomping Grounds project
Houston-based Revive Development has announced plans to develop the Stomping Grounds, a mixed-use project totaling 22,821 square feet of restaurant, retail and office space across four buildings at 1225 34th at Alba in the Garden Oaks neighborhood. The 3-acre project will contain an 8,000-square-foot central lawn and 224 parking spaces. Three existing buildings will be repurposed, and a fourth will be added. Completion is planned by Labor Day.
Casper, the online mattress retailer that ships products compressed in small boxes, has opened a new retail concept shop in the Galleria so customers can try before they buy. The mattresses, all manufactured and assembled in the U.S., range from $350 to $1,150, according to the company. The store is near Tesla.
Jodi Morton and Samantha Hall have opened an F45 Training fitness center at Lakeland Village Center near Fry Road and Cypress North Houston in Bridgeland, according to Howard Hughes Corp., the developer.
River Oaks Gynecology and Aesthetics has opened at KNA Partners’ new development on Westheimer and Mid Lane. Ashley Casterlin with Davis Commercial represented the tenant in the 2,587-square-foot lease. Keri Jo McCrory with Beeson Properties represented the landlord.
Doc Popcorn, operated by franchisees Rob and Jean McLean, is opening in Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway. The Pearland store, in Suite 1190 behind H&M, is one of four area mall locations along with Memorial City Mall, Katy Mills and First Colony Mall.
Smoke N More has leased 1,500 square feet at 9901 Spencer Highway, La Porte. Wayne Rutledge with Rutledge Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord.
Mueller Pye & Associates CPA has leased 1,250 square feet at 21398 Provincial Blvd., Katy. Emil Wulfe of Wulfe & Co. represented the tenant. Inna Gallagher of Rubicon Realty Group represented the landlord, Elhammady Eslam.
9Round Kickboxing, represented by Ashley Casterlin of Davis Commercial, signed deals for two locations. Inna Gallagher of Rubicon Realty represented the landlord in a 1,200-square-foot lease at the Shops at Easton Place, Sugar Land. Bunny McLeod with Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord in a 1,367-square-foot lease in Easton Commons at the northeast corner of Texas 6 and West Road.
