Curry honored at Global Power Tour Houston
Tiffany Curry, a real estate entrepreneur, has been named Woman of the Year at the 2017 Global Power Tour Houston, a multi-city, multi-country, hands-on and engaging summit for women entrepreneurs focusing on building their business brand, strategy and finances.
Curry ranks in the top 2 percent of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brokerage network worldwide. Tiffany spoke at the conference, sharing with fellow entrepreneurs how she started her business initially with her 401(k).
Curry shared how she utilizes a global online presence in innovating her business and exposing her clients’ properties to broad audiences worldwide.
“I refused to be defined by walls, and so should you,” Curry said. “Remember, slow and steady wins the race. Success doesn’t always happen overnight. Be patient, keep striving and align yourself with the right people.”
She has been the recipient of many of Houston real estate’s most recognized awards, including Houston Realtor of the Year in 2011 by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR); Entrepreneur of the Year by the Women’s Council of Realtors Houston; and Top 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate.
Curry is a national director for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Rethink Council, a think tank for millennial brokers engaging the next generation perspective to the companies’ Executive Leadership team, who oversee the networks 40,000 members.
Celebrating her 11th year in the industry, Curry has helped to influence several of real estate’s progressive avenues including serving on National Presidential Advisory Groups to bring ratings and reviews to Realtor.com and helping to change NAR’s $35 million consumer advertising campaigns to create a better consumer experience.
Curry also helped to establish (HAR) Houston’s Young Professionals Network presence locally and nationally.
