Robin Tucker enjoys flow of home-industry referrals
Today, the Houston real estate market is strong, despite Hurricane Harvey and some softening in the market in 2016.
“There are a lot of buyers now and homes are being sold, so this is a good time to list your home or buy,” said Robin Tucker, a Realtor with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.
Tucker’s focus area is the Memorial area, but she serves clients in all price points inside and outside of Loop 610.
A native Houstonian, Tucker graduated from the University of Texas and University of Houston’s law school. She worked as a lawyer for three years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom for her three children.
“Working as a lawyer was not quite for me. There were not many happy moments even when I won a case, because clients were not happy dealing with legal matters in the first place,” Tucker said.
However, Tucker had always been interested in homes and real estate. In fact, she has remodeled a home, built a home from the ground up, and bought and sold a couple of abodes, so she has been on both sides of the table in many aspects. So, when she decided to go back to work, real estate was her first choice.
“I love showing homes and learning about individual properties. I also ... am very much a people person. I work hard for my clients to ensure they reach their goal, because what is the most important to me is having happy clients and seeing their smiles at closing. Real estate has many happy moments and happy endings,” Tucker said.
Her experience and knowledge in remodeling and construction allows her to help her clients when they move forward in these areas.
“I love what I do, and I love working with my clients. It is exciting when clients find that right home or when they see a sold sign in their yard,” Tucker said.
Tucker is known for being outgoing, hardworking, a good listener, friendly, warm and professional, having excellent communication skills. She is also detail oriented, efficient and gets things done. She is also available to her clients 24/7, and stays updated on the market and trends.
Her experience of almost a decade and being service oriented for her clients have led to a continual flow of referrals, being one of the top 10 in 2016 and in the Circle of Excellence with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.
