Rockets (17-4) update: They have won 11 of the last 13 meetings with the Lakers but lost their most recent game against the Lakers at Staples Center. … The Rockets have outscored opponents by an average of 21.3 points in the six games since Chris Paul’s return from a bruised knee. … Ryan Anderson has averaged 17.2 points on 56-percent shooting in his last five games after averaging 7.4 points in 40-percent shooting in his previous five games. … Although he has not played enough games to qualify for the NBA season leader statistics, Paul’s 10.3 assists and 8-to-1 assiststo-turnover ratio would top the NBA.
