Do you love Christmas carols?

-

Come and hear for yourself that on the First Noel the source of the real joy is found in God, who came in the flesh.

Do you love Christmas carols? Here’s a line from a classic that not many people sing anymore: “Nails, spear, shall pierce Him through; The cross be born for me, for you: Hail, hail the Word made flesh, the babe, the son of Mary.”

This is an oftenforgotten line from the carol “What Child Is This?” Christmas is often associated with family, happiness and gifts. And well it should be.

However, it’s easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas: God left heaven to become human, to live and die for us, all to secure forgiveness, joy, hope and peace for everyone who will trust Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

This is the good news behind Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born.”

You are invited to celebrate this Christmas at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church (www.cepc.org).

Bring your joy along with your questions. Come and see how the baby in the manger grew to become the Savior. He is the only one who offers real joy and real hope for you, your family, our city and the world.

Come and see how the events of the Silent Night truly bring Joy to the World.

Come and see why for 2,000 years the world has asked, “What Child Is This?”

Come and hear for yourself that on the First Noel the source of the real joy is found in God, who came in the flesh.
