THOMAS LYNN SQUIRES

1942-2017

Thomas Lynn Squires, devoted son of Howard and Gladys Squires, beloved husband for over 27 years to Virginia, loving father to Michael Squires, Mac Fernandez, Michele Squires, Denise Harris, and Michael Fernandez, loving son-in-law to motherin-law Juanita Vasquez passed on to meet the Lord on December 13, 2017. Tom was a cherished father-in-law to Erika, Baily, Charles, and Allison. He was the best “Pop” to grandchildren Macy, Brooke, Baby Mikie, Dion, Damian, Cooper, Maximus, Bella, Olivia, Evelyn, and Lorenzo. Tom was loved by many, including his in-laws Bea, Ana (Juan), Frank (Jan), Dario Jr., Josie (Mark), Andrea (Greg), and Danny (Laurie). He leaves behind his sister Mary Baldwin. Because of his infectious personality, Tom was cherished by many friends, including Jim and Hita Dickson. Tom will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed and loved deeply. Tom was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Howard and Gladys Squires, fatherin-law Dario Vasquez, son G. Scott Squires and grandson Brandon Wells.

Tom left this world a better place through his charismatic personality and unique ability to make everyone he met feel special. He was 75 years old and a longtime resident of Houston.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Pastor Howard Agnew officiating.
