Growler USA microbrew pub to open in Friendswood
Growler USA ,a Colorado-based craft beer microbrew pub with 17 locations including one in Katy, plans to open in Friendswood in February. The franchise has leased 2,500 square feet in the Fountain Plaza Center, 2111 W. Parkwood Ave., according to the city of Friendswood. Growler USA offers up to 100 taps of craft beer, hard cider, draught wine, root beer, kombucha tea and a variety of food options.
Amegy has opened a banking center at 17602 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land. Amegy Bank of Texas has more than 75 locations across Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café plans to open three more Texas locations in the spring of 2018. The Houstonbased chain, which opened in Rice Village five years ago, will open an 1,824-square-foot restaurant in La Centerra at Cinco Ranch at the Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard. It will open in College Station’s Century Square development and is finalizing a location in The Woodlands.
Pho Saigon Vietnamese Noodle House has leased 3,168 square feet in Kirby Commons, a shopping center being built at 11609 Broadway, Pearland, for its fifth area location. Opening is planned by June. Jason Gaines of NAI Partners represented the landlord, SSS Pearland Property. Michael Paramore of Inner Loop Properties represented the tenant. Another four to five tenants have signed up for space in the new development, according to Gaines.
Edge Capital Markets brokered the sale of two Goodwill store and donations centers in Sugar Land and Rosenberg. Josh Jacobs, Burdette Huffman and Kevin Holland of Edge Capital Markets represented the sellers, Reading Business GW and Telfair Partners GW. Judd Zinberg of Alfred Realty represented the buyer. The stores, built in 2016, will continue to be occupied by Goodwill.
Shoe Show Encore stores has leased 15,000 square feet at Brazos Mall in Lake Jackson. The mall is owned by AC Brazos Mall Partners. Abe Charski of ACI represented the tenant.
Ivy Kids has purchased 1.92 acres in Marketplace at Ninety-Six at League City Parkway and Hobbs Road, League City. Rebecca Le and Heather Nguyen represented the seller, NewQuest Properties. Sara Allen of Edge Realty Partners represented the buyer.
