LINDA PO SUAN WOO

1948-2018

went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2018 at age 69, surrounded by her family. She was an active member of her church and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda was born on October 27, 1948 in Toy Ping, China. She immigrated to the United States in 1960 and moved to Houston in 1961, where she would eventually meet and marry her husband of over 45 years, Gene. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kim Cheung. She is survived by her husband, Gene; sister, Nancy; brother, Ming; sister, Elizabeth and her husband, Jerry; brother, Richard; brother, David and his wife, Jeannie; brother, Patrick; two children, Jeff and his wife, Cynthia, and Jennifer and her husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Cortland, Alyssa, Karsyn, Kaden, Elliot, and Miles; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her. A celebration of life memorial service has been planned for January 20, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Chinese Baptist Church, 900 Brogden Rd, Houston, TX 77024. As a tribute to Linda, please wear her favorite color, purple. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chinese Baptist Church.
