Mirrors aren’t just for checking your appearance. They can add color, dimension, artful impact as well as become a statement piece for a room.

The reason is simply because a mirror can maximize a room’s style by becoming part of a spectacular focal piece over a mantel or to being included in tablescapes. They’re also a great way to expand a room by creating an optical illusion of space she explained.
“Every room of the house from the entryway of your home to the bedroom can be decorated with a mirror. With the use of different types of lighting added with mirrors in your home, this can create the ambiance you’re looking for,” Carroll said.

“Hanging multiple mirrors on the same wall and grouping them together is very pleasing to the eye,” said Carroll. “Make a gallery wall by displaying many different styles and sizes of mirrors. This is a great place to add a pop of color as well. Including a mirror in your space is a great way to create a visually larger space, and works great with an open floor plan.”
Finding the perfect niche for a mirror in a space begins with knowing how to put it to use for your personal design, said Carroll.
“Creating an artistic piece in the house that reflects your style, and enhances the home’s ambiance is a great way to include mirrors into your home. You can also bring in mirrored furniture such as a mirrored nightstand or dresser to create a more glamorous space,” she said.
