ROSEMARY ELIZABETH CANNAN SCHWARZ OF HOUSTON, TEXAS Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway with Reverend Matthew Hudman of Memorial Drive Christian Church officiatin­g. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Internment will follow in the family site at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

Mrs. Schwarz was born October 29, 1945 in Houston, Texas and passed away on February 13, 2018 in Houston, Texas. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Cannan and Laverne Sloan Cannan. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Schwarz, sister Jamie Cannan DeGeorge and husband Lynn Keith DeGeorge, niece, Michelle Cannan Peacock and husband William Nathan Peacock, cousin Kristen Hayneswort­h of Austin, Texas, brother Peter Schwarz and wife Dee Ann and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosemary was a native of Houston and fifth generation Texan. She was a member of Daughters of The Republic of Texas and United Daughters of the Confederac­y. Rosemary worked for years at the law firm of Fulbright and Jaworski, now Norton, Rose and Fulbright for Attorney Neil Thomas. She was skilled at cake baking and decorating and accomplish­ed at needlework.
