Meritage, Village Builders offer new homes near Elyson’s amenities.
Meritage Homes and Village Builders are offering new homes priced from the $330,000s in one of the newest neighborhoods in Elyson, a master-planned community in the Katy Independent School District. This weekend, home buyers can tour recently opened model homes from each builder and can preview available homes ready for spring and summer move-in.
These homes are offered in a neighborhood surrounded by several of Elyson’s best features. It is within walking distance of Elyson House, Elyson’s first major amenity. Outside, it offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, playground and event lawn. Inside, Elyson House has a fitness center, meeting room, and a game room with ping-pong, shuffleboard, foosball and other games.
Elyson House is also home to Elyson Cafe, serving a popular menu of pizzas, pastas, salads, burgers, smoothies and more. Other offerings include daily take-home meals for four, beer and wine selections, and poolside service.
This neighborhood is across the street from a future elementary school site owned by Katy ISD. No schedule has been announced for opening the school, and Elyson students currently attend a K-12 Katy tri-campus less than four miles from the community. It includes Bethke Elementary School, opened in 2016, and Stockdick Junior High School and Paetow High School, both opened in 2017.
Many homesites in the neighborhood border greenbelts and waterways, part of the more than 750 acres that Elyson plans to devote to parks, trails and natural open space.
Meritage’s Redbud and Village Builders’ Longview model homes are among the 14 fully furnished model homes open in Elyson’s Model Home Village.
