For high-rise living, it’s all about the spectacular views

Houston has some spectacular views when it comes to our beautiful skyline, parks and cityscape scenery across downtown, the Galleria, the Medical Center and Museum District.

In Houston highrises, you could enjoy these from the comfort of your home, whether on a terrace, ceiling-to-floor windows or right outside on walking trails.

Donald R. Dowling, principal, designated broker, CondoSmart Realty, LLC, said Houston developers know what buyers are looking for.

“View is very important,” Dowling said. “It means different things to different people. Some want to see buildings, trees, or lights. Anything you want is out there.”

Dowling, who resides in a condominium himself, prefers a relaxing garden setting.

“I love my view. On the first floor of the courtyard, you see trees and potted plants. It’s like looking into your own backyard. It’s gorgeous,” he said.

The Houstonian Estates is a place known for its expansive, gorgeous grounds. Located on 3½ acres, magnificent forested grounds, foliage-lined paths and glens surround this secluded residential setting.

The Sophie at Bayou Bend is designed so each of the 39 condominium homes has a stunning private green retreat outdoor living space, some as large as 1,000 square feet.

In the Galleria area, there’s plenty of options for high-rise homeowners when deciding what they’d like to see in their sightline.

At Camden Post Oak’s 33-story building, residents can find exceptional views of Uptown and a taste of a developing landscape with residential towers and towering office buildings. The Dominion Post Oak, which is near the Galleria, provides views, from up to 31 stories high of the bustling area.

The Arabella, located at 4521 San Felipe, is positioned next to the River Oaks District in Uptown Houston and just three blocks from The Galleria. Residents can enjoy views of the area from their sky pools on the terraces of several of their 99 units on this 33-story construction.

“There’s so much going on in the Galleria with so many beautiful buildings. The lights are just stunning,” Dowling said.

Throughout downtown Houston, the Texas Medical Center and in the Museum District, you can find spectacular viewing of the nightlife and skyline from right inside your home.

The Parklane, where luxury high-rises are available for rent, views of downtown are to the north, and Texas Medical Center is to the south with Hermann Park right below. Mosaic, known for its chic urban approach, has Hermann Park in their backyard.

Their towers provide a spacious view of the city skyline.

At One Park Place, downtown residents can look down from their 37-story building at Discovery Green as well as the everchanging night life.

SkyHouse Houston, located at 1625 Main and built at 24 stories, has downtown views right outside your windows.

Truly, anything is possible in Houston luxury condominiums. “We’re lucky in Houston,” Dowling said. “We have so many varied locations and views. It’s quite an asset.”
